Qualified, compassionate and approachable, the core staff have stayed with us over the years, which gives residents a sense of stability and continuity of care.
Our manager, Anna Paterson is an experienced manager with an excellent reputation, she has worked in a variety of areas learning disability, dementia, care homes and home care. She is qualified to Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care. It was the experience of nursing her grandmother through terminal illness that first inspired her. Anna says, “my approach is to look after all residents as if they were family, I love the relationships we build and it’s the reason I love coming to work everyday!”
Anna is supported by the Home Owner John Kellas who is the Registered Provider, he has owned the home for 13 years and has recently invested in new nurse call systems, fire safety systems and renovations to communal areas.
Anna has a Deputy Manager, Team Leader and Senior Carers that help the home run smoothly. They support a large team of care staff and housekeeping to ensure our residents are well cared for in a pleasant environment.
Linda is our Activities Coordinator who helps keep our residents entertained with lots to look forward to.
We are very fortunate to have long serving and reliable staff who show great commitment to Cornelius House and its residents.
